Shaun Parkin has been a member of the Russell + Associates team since 2010, focusing on residential real estate transactions and litigation. He represents clients on all aspects of real estate sales, purchases, and Landlord/Tenant disputes, such as summary process evictions and handles a variety of civil claims, ranging from simple to complex. He prioritizes clear communication in order to ensure there are no surprises at closing and is particularly well-versed in the new CFPB requirements. In 2004, Shaun graduated from Union College with a B.A. in Political Science. While attending Albany Law School, he worked as a research assistant and analyzed a variety of land use issues as part of a collective effort to update Anderson’s American Laws of Zoning. He also assisted a professor with the publication of her casebook by researching legal literature regarding gender and sexuality as it pertains to the military. A resident of Framingham, Massachusetts, Shaun is an enthusiast of New York sports teams.

An adept communicator, problem-solver and creative strategist, as well as a skilled negotiator, Stephen advocates on behalf of his clients until disputes are resolved thoroughly and successfully. Stephen works diligently to provide his clients with quality customer service and expedited, results-oriented legal representation in all phases of the conveyancing process.

Prior to joining Russell + Associates, Stephen was an Associate at a boutique real estate firm with offices in Boston and Newton. He attended Suffolk University Law School where he earned his Juris Doctor. While at SULS, Stephen won the Best Oral Advocate Award and obtained a Suffolk Defenders Fellowship where he represented clients through all phases of litigation. He received his B.A. from the University of Vermont where he double majored in Political Science and Sociology. Stephen also interned on Capitol Hill while studying public law at American University in Washington, D.C.

Stephen is a current member of the Massachusetts Bar and Real Estate Bar Associations, as well as an affiliate of the Greater Boston Association of REALTORS® and the Realty Guild. He is also an active participant in his local community through various civic organizations.

Brendan Armour is an attorney specializing in real estate law, representing buyers, lenders and sellers in all phases of property transactions. Attorney Armour has experience in commercial and residential conveyancing, Landlord-Tenant law, as well as business and civil litigation.

A native of Norwood, Massachusetts, Brendan attended Noble and Greenough School in Dedham before enrolling at Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. A member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society, Attorney Armour graduated magna cum laude, majoring in Government and minoring in Latin. During college, Mr. Armour gained business and legal experience while interning at Fenway Sports Marketing and The Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office. Following graduation, Brendan worked as a scheduling manager for the Joint Venture, a subcontractor for the MBTA’s The Ride program.

In 2011, Mr. Armour enrolled Boston College Law School. While at BC Law Brendan was an active member in school organizations and competitions. He co-founded the BC Law Alumni charity golf charity tournament, which seeks to raise funds for students pursuing a career in public interest work. In his final year at BC Law Brendan externed at the Boston College Legal Assistance Bureau serving as a rule 3:03 student-attorney representing indigent clients in civil litigation matters including landlord-tenant disputes and family law matters.

Attorney Armour previously worked at real estate and litigation firms in the MetroWest area. During his free time, Brendan is an avid New England sports fan and a struggling but persistent golfer.

Attorney Amy Scopa, a 1996 graduate of Merrimack College and Suffolk University Law School, was admitted to practice in Massachusetts State and Federal Courts in 2001. Attorney Scopa started at a General Civil Litigation law firm located in Boston where much of the practice focused on Eminent Domain. From there she became an associate with a fast-paced law firm representing buyers, sellers, and lenders in residential and commercial transactions. After graduating from the Catholic University of America with a B.A. in English Literature, Nancy Molinari worked at a small law firm in Wellesley, Massachusetts. She was later hired as a legal assistant by a busy real estate firm in Needham and received her paralegal licensure from Northeastern University in 2003. Nancy joined Russell + Associates in 2007 where she manages the paralegal team. Nancy works on all real estate transactions, both commercial and residential, and ensures a high level of service for clients, lenders, and brokers. Her responsibilities include acting as a main point of contact for residential real estate clients, tracking and processing documentation, and keeping everyone informed throughout the process.

Crystal Basile worked for a radio station as a receptionist and sales assistant before pursuing a career in the legal profession. She became a legal assistant at Portnoy & Greene, P.C. in 2001 and received her paralegal licensure from Northeastern University in 2003.
